These are the ones that should be outlawed!!! A client came to me last night and I wish I had my camera! I took one look at her and was like "oh no!" These looked like drag queen lashes! I don't know what yu call these. They are like chunks of strip lashes glued on with tar! It took so much adhesive remover (jill your gel kind is a life savor!) but what surprised me the most is that they were glued not to her lashes but underneath her lashed to the skin right below her lashes! YIKES!!! I was so nervous taking them off... but more nervous if they were to be left on. I had another client come in with these and she told me one time they removed them with finger nail polish remover and it got in her eye! WHAT??? Nasty!!! I see girls in these all the time. I try to educate them that they are destroying their lashes. My client loved loved loved her end result with my lashes and she also loved the fact that she couldn't feel them! Yay!

wow that does sound like a night mare. what was your taking off procedure on the removal, do you let it soak on the lashes for 5 minutes or keep massaging them off, as i have only ever taken one or two off before. thanx in advance

I coated them in the gel remover (it took a pretty good amount). I got out a few of my microswabs out. I just started to run the microswabs coated in the remover across the thick glue (gently). working away the layers of nasty tar-like adhesive. I took a break and let it soak for a few minutes then went back to doing the same thing.... applied a bit more remover... repeated the steps. After about an hour the suckers started coming off. I examined each one to make sure there were no natural lashes stuck in them to make sure my technique wasn't damaging her lashes. Oh and also I had taped her lashes just like i was going to do the extensions. After I was done i cleansed the lashes well and removed the pads.... I let her take a few minutes and let her eyes breath. Her eyes were a little jumpy when we got started again. But the end result was great!
