I have been doing lashes for quite some time and every now and then I get a request for bottoms. My question is..How? I did try a few on a client awhile back, but she was too sensitive to the glue...also the client asking has veeerrrryyyy sparse bottom lashes and to put a few on would in my opinion look ridiculous..she has maybe 8 eyelashes on each eye on the bottom. How can you possibly do bottom lashes with the chemical fumes, eyes open and continuous blinking? Any answers would be helpful. At this time I prefer to just hand clients a mascara!--Kit
I've once learned the application on bottom lashes in Japan, but it was open eye application (half open)and can not use very fumy glue (= strong fast drying glue). Taped under eyelid to pull dragging down. You may use not-so-fumy-glue and won't last long, 1 or 1.5 week max. It was very charming look with 7~8 long EE, but just won't last long.....
Hi Kit, I learned it with open eye application using a no odor/no fume (sensitive formula) adhesive.
You could do the taping technique to lift the lashes out of the way & try it with closed eyes I suppose. jp ---------- Jill Heijligers-Peloquin Lash FX www.lashfx.com
