I was wondering if someone can answer a question for me. I have a client that had there lip liner done seven years ago. I touched up her lip liner. She healed and it has been about a month. She is now saying that when she opens her mouth as big as she can that it hurts her where the touch up was done. Can anyone tell me why you think this could be? She is not and did not have a reaction to anything. I would think that it would be because her lips are chaped and that area is still delicate. Can someone help me with this? Advice please. Thank you.

Does anyone have an ides why this would be and what needs to be done? I would like to think its because this area is still delicate and most likely chapped. Can this be the reason? Thank you for your time & your help.

I think this is still fairly soon from a touch up. I actually tell my clients that they should consider healing to take at least 4-6 weeks. Also I generally don't work a whole lot in the corners as that is typically not the place we want lipliners to be emphasizing. And if she's stretching it as far as possible, it's going to want to crack and heal crack and heal over and over again. Why does she make the healing difficult? Its like biting your cheek, and re-biting it, etc. She should just leave it alone and it will probably be fine.
