Our Diane (the hottie 'High Plains Drifter" form the Houston Convention and by far the foxiest babe in a cowgirl hat) has had a very sad day.

She lost her beloved cat of 18 years to renal failure. She was big enough to be with 'Champagne' to hold her as Champagne went peacefully to the Rainbow Bridge, where all of our beloved friends await our arrivals.

I'm so sorry for your loss Diane. I wish you strength and faith during this time. We cry with you.

Thank you Liza and Lizzy!!!! I am doing better today, but I so miss her "meows"!!!!! Champagne was a VERY vocal cat!! She could be relentless at times and would drive my husband crazy!! Now he also is missing her!! It is VERY quiet here this morning!!
I do have a new upper enhancement to do today so I'll be occupied in a bit. Then later tonight back home to the "quiet". My other cat "Hoppy" is feeling the loss as well. He is staying close by me.
Thanks again for the love and support!!
Love,
Diane

Diane, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for the loss of your little loved one. You are in my thoughts today, and I picture little Champagne frolicking in a sunny, flower filled pasture with all of the other little ones that have gone before us. Hugs to you.

You are ALL SOOO wonderful!!!! Thank you SOOO much for your words of condolence and love!!!
I did really well all day today until I got home. I just kept expecting to hear her meow or see her in the kitchen telling me "it's time for dinner"!!!!
I tried to watch the Olympics, but tears and sobs just overcame me. I know it will get better, but after 18 years it is such a loss!! I got her when she was 6 weeks old!!!! Just a little ball of white fur, pink nose and ears and big blue eyes. Thank God I have my big Tonkinese cat, "Hoppy"!!! He knows what is going on!! He's been right by me all night. My husband even is feeling the absence of our very vocal little girl!!
Tomorrow is another day and each one will get easier, I hope!!! All of you are deffinetly helping me!!! And yes, Okie, God does have a place for our animals, with us for eternity!!!!
Love you all,
Diane

you'll hear her, her voice, her soft padding across the floor. You'll even feel her against your leg sometimes.
18 years is a long time and it takes time for your heart and mind to register her absence.
You're a good mama, you have Champagne a good home for a lot of years. She was lucky to have you, and you were lucky to have her.

Hi Diane,
My deepest condolences for your lost.
Its been 2 1/2 years since my beloved cat Sterling died after being my best friend for almost 18 years. I know now you must go easy on yourself and take time to heal. Dont even try to "get over it by next week" but do know your life is better now that you gave that special creature a wonderful life and a piece of your heart. I am sure your cat appreciated the happy safe long life you gave her.

You all are being SOOOO wonderfulto me!!!! Yesterday was easier, but now my "Hoppy" is just sitting and looking around. He was all over my legs this morning and was meowing at me. He usually isn't very vocal. It's amazing how other animals know what is going on!!!!
I am going down to San Diego this afternoon to se my best friend. She is offering her house for a baby shower fopr one of our friends tomorrow, I will help out then back tomorow night. Another friend's daughter is being given her Bridal Shower Sunday, SOOO, I'll be occupied by happy things this weekend.
Again thank you all soooo much for your love and support!! I really appreciate it!!
Love you all,
Diane

Hi to all,
It will be two weks tommorow that my little "Champagne" went to the "Rainbow Bridge". I am more settled about it now. I have found peace knowing that she isn't suffering and is with many other animals I have lost in the past.
Thank you all for your thoughts and condolences!! It means alot to know so many care!!
A bright ray of light will enter my life on Sept.5th. I will be picking up my new "Yorkie" puppy!!!! Her name is "Ruby Girl" and is SOOOO precious!!! I was hoping that Champagne could've met her, but that wasn't meant to be.Any of you who are interested in a puppy photo can e-mail me and i will send one along, totalbeauty4u@cox.net , is my e-mail.
Again, thankyou for all you support at this difficult time!!!
Love,
"Mo"
